Several upgrades this week! The minions now spawn from tiny houses - something I can use to make "bases" for the players when I start working on the actual levels for the game. In addition, I added a sauna building that spawns naked, non-hostile minions. And to accompany the sauna, there's now a pool with fake fluid physics. This should allow for some cool level designs, too.
I also added a new gun: a grenade launcher. It shoots ballistic grenades that explode after one bounce or a direct hit. I guess I could make the grenades explode into shrapnel, too, but let's see!
The test level is getting a bit crowded with random stuff, yet it feels to work on the game this way. There more there's stuff, the easier it feels to get a feel of the game as a whole. Maybe I should focus a bit more on the GUI next to balance the view.
The more complex I make the game, the less sense my dumb bot players make. They're still good for testing the game by myself, but the game will be multiplayer only. With an exception of some game modes that can be player solo, like perhaps some time trials.
